Happy Parrot

I haven't posted anything in a while ... 1 year and 3 months ... but who's counting?

I recently [December 2009] went on a rather long and enjoyable cruise around the caribbean and of course my shiny new Canon G11 came with me too. In truth however I wasn't really impressed with the G11. I bought it on release for over £500 and the shots I got were noisy and usually over-exposed. With hindsight I would have brought my Canon 30D and 24-70 F2.8 L.

Still, I've gone through the thousand or so photos I took whilst away and have put together a collection of about 50 photos I think are worthy to share. The first one is of a cheeky parrot that I met in a cafe on the Isla Margaritas of Venezuela - enjoy.
